Stiklestad Eye

Sleep in a glass igloo, in the middle of the pasture area. With the backdrop of the forest, and great views of Verdal. 

Here you can enjoy peace and quiet. Stay comfortably, with a feeling of being under the “open sky.” 

From May to September, there will be sheep grazing in the area. 

The Igloo is equipped with a heat pump.

Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed inside the igloo. By appointment only.

The space

There are nice hiking trails in the immediate vicinity.

Guest access

Parking about 300 meters from the glass igloo.

It is a good idea to put on good shoes that can withstand getting wet, as there is grass on the way up to the igloo. 

I don't recommend a wheelbarrow.

Other things to note

There is mains power in the accommodation. 

The place has an incineration toilet.

Shower can be borrowed at Stiklestad Camping, about 5 km from Stiklestad Eye. 

There is no running water, but there will be 5 liters of clean water available.

There is a fire pan with a frying pour-over, pot, coffee kettle, and barbecue equipment. 

Wood is available.

There is a small electric grill and two hobs with two pots, a frying pan as well as a kettle.
